Neil McMillan
brings a dynamic and unique mix of international marketing,
management and franchise experience to his position as president
of FranNet USA of Los Angeles.
Before joining FranNet, Neil was Director of International Brand
Marketing at Allied Domecq QSR where he led the international
strategic marketing efforts for Baskin-Robbins. Working closely
with licensees and franchisees, Neil introduced brand strategies
that reversed declining sales and led to cumulative growth of
more than 55% from 1998 to 2003. A strong innovator, he launched
new products, revitalized neglected classics and reestablished
the Brand’s 2200 stores as the global ice cream destinations of
choice.
In his previous role as Director of International Field Marketing
for ADQSR, Neil managed the marketing and development of more
than 1500 Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins stores in Asia,
Australia, the Middle East and Africa. Launching new strategic
initiatives despite the devastating Asian economic crisis, Neil
boosted sales by more than 20% in several markets.
Earlier, Neil had a distinguished career with Allied Domecq
International Liqueurs, developing such key brands as Kahlua,
Tia Maria and Hiram Walker Liqueurs in the Pacific Rim and
Canada. While overseeing global/local brand strategies and
marketing program development, Neil spearheaded the introduction
of multiple products and generated sales increases that presaged
his later successes. Prior to this, he prospered in brand and
marketing management positions for Allied Distillers Limited.
During his career with Allied Domecq, Neil was instrumental in
setting two Guinness records for the world’s largest ice cream
cake and ice cream scoop pyramid. Furthermore, his work was
recognized with numerous awards, including the coveted Allied
Domecq Gold Marketing Award for Excellence.
A native of Scotland, Neil studied business administration at
Rhodes University in South Africa. He is a true citizen of the
